The Roadmap: From Blueprints to Beauty

Transforming a 2D concept into a photorealistic experience is a collaborative journey. Here is how we get there:

1. Onboarding & Assets

Everything starts with your vision. Once we’ve kicked off the project, you’ll provide the necessary "DNA" for the build to help you win projects and impress clients.

  • CAD Files: DWG, RVT, or SketchUp models.

  • Material Schedule: Finishes, textures, and specific product specs.

  • Landscaping & Context: Site photos or Google Maps locations.

  • The "Mood": Reference images or lighting preferences (e.g. Golden Hour vs dusk).

  • Vantage Points: Arrows provided on the proposed plan indicating views required.

2. Accurate 3D Modelling

I carefully import your files and build a precise 3D base model (as seen below) that stays 100% faithful to your architecture. Every proportion, detail, and structural element is modelled exactly as drawn.

  • Texturing & Materials: High-quality, physically accurate materials and textures are applied — from glass and concrete to wood, metal, and fabrics. I match your material palette so the final renders feel real and true to your design intent.

  • Lighting, Environment & Camera Setup: Realistic lighting is set up (daylight, dusk, interior, or night). I add context like landscaping, people, and surroundings only if you want them. Cameras are positioned as per your request.

  • High-Resolution Rendering: Using professional rendering engines, I produce photorealistic still images (or animations if requested). This is where your design truly comes to life with incredible detail and realism.

  • Post-Production: In the final polish stage, I fine-tune color grading, contrast, atmosphere, and add subtle enhancements (entourage, sky, reflections) to make the images presentation-ready and emotionally impactful.

3. Review & Revisions

You receive preliminary renders for feedback where you have the opportunity to make some comments. The preferred method is a penned mark-up where you draw over my image illustrating any amendments you would like to see. I include two rounds of revisions as standard — fast turnaround so we stay on schedule and you get exactly what you need.

  • Final Delivery: Once approved, I deliver the finished high-resolution files in your preferred formats (web-optimized + print-ready). If you need extra angles, animations, or last-minute amendments, I’m just one message away.
